HISTORY/GENERAL INFORMATION OF THE INSTITUTION
St. Mary's Convent School is administered by Mary Matha Education
Society, Jalgaon, Maharashtra. In 1986 we purchased 5 acres of land
with the help of Rev. Fr. Thomas Paramundayil. On 10th August 1995
the foundation stone for the school building was laid by Emirates Most
Rev. Cecil D'Souza. On July 8th 1996, the classes started with 56
students. The school was affiliated to the Council for the Indian
School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, and the 1st batch of the
ICSE came out in flying colours in 2007. We are indebted to founder
Principal Sr. Blossom John who worked hard initially to bring up the
institution as standard one. Also gratitude flows to the principals Sr.
Mary Vattamattam, Sr. Leema Varghese for the selfless service that
rendered towards the growth of the institution from period to period.
Another remarkable event was that the first batch of ISC came out
with excellent result in 2010. We cannot forget the teachers, parents,
benefactors, ministerial staff who supported and served the institution
since began. A word of appreciation goes to the management for their
great support and concern towards the growth of St. Mary's Convent
School.
